“I hadn’t been to The Dana in years, but it was perfect for us. Masks required when not in the pool, room very clean and everything sanitized (and noted as such), easy check-in, and plenty of space in and around both pools to socially distance. And get this! The dayrooms literally open to the Tropical Pool, so we took about 10 steps from our patio and were in the water. I enjoyed this smaller pool (a bit more quiet and tucked away) but the Bayside Infinity Pool is pretty cool. Kids enjoyed cannonballing all afternoon long then (surprise!) watching a dive-in movie after sunset. Both spas were open as well (way to my heart), so Mom enjoyed the momentary return of her sanity. And God bless the restaurant manager who lit the fire pit for me early. I may just survive 2021, thanks to those glorious minutes.”

“It’s the perfect place for a staycation. It is such a relaxing spot with lots of rooms with water views, a big grassy area, walking paths, pools, and a good restaurant. You really feel like you are on vacation when you stay here since it has such a good vibe and is low key. It is close to Seaworld, Downtown, La Jolla but it feels far away from all the activity.”
