Explore the Museums
Art museums, history museums, automotive museums, oh my! Whatever your interests include, there’s a museum for you at Balboa Park. Now open through 2020, San Diego Museum of Man’s Post Secret Exhibit displays anonymous postcard secrets from individuals all over the world. You can even submit your own postcard to the collection.
Enjoy Craft Cocktails at outdoor pop-up Panama 66
Located on the open-air patio of the San Diego Museum of Art, Panama 66 offers locally-sourced, hand-crafted dishes and drinks, live music, and views of Marcy S. May’s Sculpture Garden.
Eat at The Prado
With décor inspired by the surrounding museums, The Prado offers a unique dining experience that’s sure to excite. A menu filled with diverse dishes pairs perfectly with fresh cocktails. Reservations are accepted and recommended.
Stop at the Botanical Gardens
Balboa Park has a handful of beautiful gardens to experience during your visit, but the spectacle of the Botanical Building and Lily Pond should be at the top of your list. This spot is one of the most photographed scenes in Balboa Park and is considered a “must-see” destination in San Diego.
