Mission Bay Cove Highlights

Sunset Point

Located adjacent to The Dana, this is a perfect spot for picnicking and it follows the bike and jog path along the bay. It's also a perfect location for weddings!

Model Yacht Pond

Located on Vacation Isle, the Model Yacht Pond is perfect to sit back and watch miniature sail and model power boat races and regattas.

Bonita Cove & Mariner's Point

Fire pits, picnic tables, and barbecue grills are available. There is also a children's playground.

Crown Point

One of Mission Bay's official swimming areas complete with a sandy beach area that borders the bike and jogging path. Fire pits, picnic tables, and barbecue grills are available. There are also basketball courts and a children's playground.

DeAnza Cove

In addition to volleyball courts, DeAnza Cove offers a children's playground, picnic tables and a sand lot bordering the bike and jogging path. There is also a boat launch for both boats and jet skis.

Fiesta Island

Home of the Annual World Championship Over-The-Line Tournament (Visit Website). This small island located in the center of Mission Bay is the perfect spot for recreational water sports. Dogs are allowed off leash.

Ski Beach

Ski Beach has a large grassy area with picnic tables, fire pits, barbecue grills, and a children's playground - all bordering Mission Bay's bike and jogging path. It is the main boat launch and ski area within Mission Bay Park, so no swimming is allowed at this location.
