Bathrooms and showers are in no short supply. You'll find a good number of outposts throughout the beach area. As for parking, there is little or no street parking. There a few area lots but they fill up fast. You'd be smart to bike, take the bus or walk.

Right next to Mission Beach is Belmont Park. You can ride the historic Giant Dipper wooden roller coaster, hop on a bumper car, and try your luck in the arcade that's filled to the brim with games. Get some exercise, too, by renting a bike or pair of rollerblades and taking off along the boardwalk.
