What’s the best part of being a mom?

The best part about being a mom is watching our children and grandchildren grow to become unique individuals. I love getting to spend time together as a family. I also love the times that I get to spend with each one of them by going on walks, going to lunch, or just hanging out at the house.

What’s your favorite way to spend Mother’s Day?

My favorite way to spend Mother’s Day is when my husband, son, and son in law put together a delicious meal. After dinner, we sit around the dining-room table playing games and enjoy lots of laughter. We have done this the last couple of years, and I’m hoping “the boys” come through again this year.

Give one piece of advice for moms-to-be.

The advice I would give a mom-to-be is to enjoy every second! Do not compare your child with others but love them for who they are. Don’t worry if they are doing something faster or slower than another child — they are developing at their own pace. Love unconditionally, spend quality time together, and always have a sense of humor.

What’s the best part of being a mom?

While Walker is still little, the best part is the big hugs with the little arms wrapped around you!

What would be your favorite way to spend Mother’s Day this year?

Being in an atmosphere that is out in the open, where Walker can walk, run, and stumble around.

What’s your favorite way to spend Mother’s Day?

Even though I’m new to the mom thing, my favorite way to spend Mother’s Day is by making my own mom know how much I appreciate her. It could be going to brunch or it could be making breakfast at home. It could be giving her flowers or money to the casino! She has four kids and six grandkids, so this is the one day to make sure she knows she’s loved!

Your kids really do grow up fast, so make sure to cherish every moment and take lots of pictures!

What’s the best part of being a mom-to-be?

The anticipation and excitement of what’s to come. Although I’m a type-A planner – reading all the books and taking notes and advice from friends who are moms – I’m still ecstatic about the surprise of how my baby is going to be, how my husband and I will change and adapt to this new life, and how we will figure everything out through trial and error.

How will you be spending Mother’s Day?

A BIG brunch with just my husband and me. Some place with a view and lots of food options.

Give one piece of advice for moms-to-be.

Give in to your cravings and eat when you’re hungry. During my first trimester, I was always sick in the evenings and rarely ate dinner, so I made it a point to have a big breakfast, always eat lunch, and bring healthy (or not so healthy) snacks to eat throughout the day.
