FAQs
Are there guided tours at the San Diego Zoo?
There are several. The 35-minute Guided Bus Tour, which is included in the admission price, is narrated and covers nearly three-quarters of the zoo. Inside Look Tours go behind the scenes, providing cool information, such as how the animals are cared for. Then there’s the one-hour Discovery Tour where you'll get an up-close-and-personal view of the animals and plants.
Can I bring food into the Zoo?
You sure can. And you'll be able to enjoy it at the picnic areas outside the Zoo's main entrance. No coolers are allowed inside the zoo and there are no food storage facilities. Glass, alcohol, and straws are prohibited to ensure the safety of all visitors and animals.
