This was my first time staying at the Dana. I am positive it will not be my last. I loved this place. I was in town for work, but the comfort of this hotel made it feel like a vacation. My company had reserved and paid for a standard room. Before I got to the hotel I'd read the reviews on the hotel. Most said "to get the best experience out of this hotel, upgrade to a deluxe room." So that's just what I did. I was a bit weary of the extra cost. But the amazing hospitality representative Nery was very helpful when I advised her of my budget. We came up with a plan for me to stay two nights in a deluxe and two nights in a standard. Well the room was so beautiful and comfortable I called to reserve two more nights. To wake up to the Bay every morning was an absolutely phenomenal experience. Every morning I sat out on my very own patio to enjoy my wonderful cup of coffee I'd just brewed inside my very on partial kitchen that had everything I needed from: plates, cups, bowls, eating utensils and paper towels. I was greeted daily by every friendly species of birds that you could think of. Two ducks in particular came every morning. I named them Cali & Diago! Last but defiantly no least, The hotel offered shuttle services at an extremely low price to and from my conference. Most times the driver was Don, A person I will never forget. He was super!! He made an extra trip every day to pick me up on my lunch break because I had leftovers from the night before in my hotel room, and take me back to the conference when I was done. Don shared he was once a foster parent. Well that touched my heart because I was once a foster child. My foster parents gave a life and normal childhood I wouldn't of otherwise had. To hear that made my day and stay unforgettable at the Dana!! I shall return:)))) A huge thanks to the Dana and it's wonderful staff!!!
