Now through Sept. 28, The San Diego Natural History Museum (the Nat) in Balboa Park hosts National Geographic's Real Pirates exhibition. This interactive exhibition showcases treasure and artifacts from the first fully authenticated pirate ship discovered in U.S. water. Opening Memorial weekend, the new Tull Family Tiger Trail at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park features a forested habitat providing a new home for the Safari Park's Sumatran tigers, a critically endangered species.
Tiger Trail offers up-close views of the fascinating felines and highlights conservation efforts for the species. Tiger Trail is included in Safari Park admission.

In June, Belmont Park, historic seven-acre amusement center in Mission Beach, will open new attractions and dining options, completing a $10 million renovation that began in 2012.
New rides include a 29-foot-high zip linegiving riders a bird's eye view of the historic park, The Leap of Faith-challenging the brave to free fall 30 feet, and a two-seater NASCAR-style car ride over a flashy oval track with a whip-like action for extreme fun.
In summer 2014, LEGOLAND® California Resort plans to open a new LEGO® Legends of Chima Water Park, based on the LEGO Group's popular Chima product line. The centerpiece of the new three-acre water park is the Lion Temple Wave Pool, where guests make their way through a LEGO® archway and into an interactive wave pool designed for families with young children.
The Adams Avenue Street Fair, Southern California's largest Free two-day music festival, is located in the Normal Heights community of San Diego. The Street Fair offers fantastic entertainment for all-ages, all weekend.
The 2014 Adams Avenue Street Fair features more than 90 musical acts performing on seven stages on Adams Avenue. In addition to the exciting musical lineup, there will be beer gardens, a beer tasting area, giant carnival rides, and more than 300 food, arts and craft vendors selling their specialties throughout the street fair venue.
The Adams Avenue Street Fair is presented by the Adams Avenue Business Association, a non-profit organization, whose mission is to promotes and increase commercial activity within the Adams Avenue Business District.
