The triathlon was invented in San Diego. Come compete in the Life Time Tri, October 15. There are special short sprints and relays so everyone can make it to the finish line.
Whether you love to swim, bike, run, or all three, the triathlon lets you challenges your abilities in your favorite sport. The Life Time Tri features a Sprint and a shorter SuperSprint, short courses that let you match the challenge to your abilities. Participate individually or as a team in a relay, letting you share the fun with your friends and draw on each other's strengths.
All participating athletes get cool swag, including a competitor's tee and a finisher's medal. You'll refuel after the event with great post-race local food at the finish festival.
Competition takes place in South Shores Park in Mission Bay, just a couple miles down the road from The Dana on Mission Bay. That means you don't need to race to the competition site and can save your energy for the run. Head back to The Dana after the race and soothe your tired muscles at our pool & spa. If you've got the energy left, you can take advantage of our on site water sports rentals.
You should set aside two days for the event; there are pre-race meetings on 10/14, and the event itself starts early on 10/15. If you've got the time, set aside even longer; there's plenty to see in San Diego and The Dana is near all the best local attractions. Click here to make your reservation.
